There is a lot of talk about the odds against us as women but not much on how to beat the odds. The odds we face keep us living in fear, denial, and unhappy unfulfilled lives. We need to know how to self reflect and identify our own individual odds in order to beat them. Thankfully I survived and have lived to tell not only how to beat the odds of the past but continue to walk out a life of victory.
In my stage play Healing:After the Tragedy I illustrate through writing and performing; my testimony of experiencing years of loss of focus, domestic violence, and depression. I share how I was able to beat those odds and find faith, love, and success.

I have used the Healing Habits journal "5 Keys" structure for over 7 years and the results led to me starting a production company that produced 5 live performances during the Hollywood Fringe festival 2018, in the area of "Me Maintenance" following the keys helped me grow my natural hair and gain a healthy relationship with my hair, the key also has helped me keep up with home cleaning and doing extra pampering essentials for my body I would otherwise forget about. As someone who has suffered with not eating properly and punishing myself with starvation when I had depression spells, using the "Food" Key helped me also build a healthy food relationship with my body making sure I was eating the essentials my body needs and more. I ran track so exercising has been apart of my life since I was 8 years old but as a adult was hard for me to fit exercising into my schedule. Using the "Fitness" Key helped me build a cardio and weight routine that has helped me stay fit. Also utilizing the "Love" key helped me set intentional times spent with family that helped restore relationships. I am a living proof that the 5 key healing habits are transformative.
Where can we find peace and serenity in the midst of chaos? How do we find guidance and joy? Communicating in prayer with Jesus and learning how to hear the shepherd in order to be led and guided to enjoy life in fullness through love, purpose, gifts, and emotional stability.
After her husband was removed from the country during the year of 2014 Nesha began going through a deep battle with depression. As a result in searching for hope and help during the 4 year separation she grew a deeper relationship with Christ through prayer and meditating on scriptures that were apart of the "Bible Promises" Book. Learning how to meditate and properly breath after studying the scriptures in daily life during her work lunch break provided her with spiritual growth that transformed her battle with depression into a joyful relationship with Christ. Spending time with God can became spirItual workouts where the Holy Spirit has trained, transformed and guided her life to create, discover talents she thought were lost, and restore her broken family relationships.
